Hidden Gems Chè – Chè Sương Sa Hạt Lựu

Always a good introductory choice if you’re new to the Chè scene. A medley of algae-based jellies floating in the aromatic coconut milk and topped with our signature red and yellow ‘gems’ made from diced water chestnut coated in tapioca. Don’t shy away from its vibrant colours – we spend hours extracting natural food colouring from beetroot, cape jasmine seeds and pandan leaves. Why mung beans? It’s cooked into a puree actually and it’s a Vietnamese counterpart of custard. If you find tiny little black dots in the mung bean puree, don’t worry it’s because we use organic vanilla paste. Vegan by nature. Gluten free. Adjust ice and sweetness at your request.
